Sirens comfortable second best?
The Sirens hit the road for a game against our friends at Richmondshire. With it being a developmental game the starting lineup was much changed compared to NC3 games. Richmondshire soon raced into a 17-0 lead after (another) slow start to the game. This raised the home teams confidence and the game never looked salvageable. The sirens scored three tries, one by Hodgson and two from F.Atkinson with two converted by Bryce but were comfortably beaten by a buoyed Ravens team
41-19 FT
Today was a vital game for the development of our newer/ less experienced players. Well done to Richmondshire on a great performance.
Focus turns to Durham City Dragons next Sunday in our last away game of the season.
