After a tricky selection this week Redcar have selected a strong team for this week’s DN2 fixture. “Seaton will not be underestimated, they usually have a big pack and like to bully from the front, they have also had a few close games recently” Head Coach Ben Durrans said today. He added “We have come into our own the past 2 weeks and while we have had a loss against Blyth, the players have come on leaps and bounds up to the win against Winlaton. The positive part from that game is the zero! Scoring points and winning games is great, but to know our defence was strong enough to withstand 80 minutes last week is something to write home about!”
Josh Lowe makes a start in the front row with a resurgent Andy Wills and Anth Coulson. Skipper Ste Johnson partners again with James Toward in the second row and the strong back row of Dyball, Hurley and Cochrane finish the Redcar pack.
Player Coach Ben Durrans moves from last week’s bench to 13 replacing an unavailable Josh Dixon, Kieran Mcmahon returns at 15 and after a promising game against Blyth and a great performance against Acklam 3rds last week, Cameron Miller fills the Redcar bench with Jamie Dentith.
